A San Ramon man has been sentenced to 15 years in federal prison for distributing child pornography.
Clyde Craig, 56, pleaded guilty in January. In a plea agreement, Craig admitted he used the Internet to distribute images and videos of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct with another person.
Craig was also sentenced to a 10 years of federal probation after his release. U.S. District Court Judge Saundra Brown Armstrong ordered him to register as a sex offender and to participate in a sex offender treatment program.
However, Craig has already been a registered sex offender in California for a previous conviction for sexual abuse of a child in a Contra Costa County case. The date of the conviction was not immediately available.
His last address, according to the California Megan’s Law database on sex offenders, was 9200 Alcosta Boulevard, near the San Ramon-Dublin border.
Craig was indicted on the latest charges by a federal grand jury last July after an investigation by the FBI.
