The next phase in the process of widening San Ramon Valley Boulevard began this week, Danville town officials said.
Crews will be working on the roadside between Jewell Terrace and Fountain Springs Drive.
As work progresses, sporadic lane closures may occur on San Ramon Valley Boulevard. Traffic control will be in place to minimize the impact on motorists.
The widening work is expected to continue into late 2014.
