The Danville Town Council will hold its first meeting of the new fiscal year Tuesday (July 1) at 7:30 p.m. in the town meeting hall, 201 Front St.

Tuesday’s meeting has a 10-item consent agenda which includes the consideration of adopting a resolution to appropriate and transfer $5.42 million in Southern Contra Costa fees for traffic mitigation to the Contra Costa Transportation Authority and to authorize execution of amendment No. 1 to a memorandum of understanding for the I-680 auxiliary lanes, segment 2 project.

In other business, there will be a presentation of proclamation about making July 2014 “Parks Make Life Better Month.” Also, another presentation will be given by incoming Leadership San Ramon Valley board president Robert Combs.

There will also be reports about the town’s maintenance services division, the Central Contra Costa Solid Waste Authority and the TRAFFIX program.
