This is the final week to see “Romantic Expressions in Pastel” at Danville’s Village Theatre and Art Gallery.
The exhibit, which opened in early January, features the colorful pastel works of five award-winning Bay Area artists.
Curated by Pleasanton artist Debbie Wardrope, the showing is the first in a series of events presented by Visit Tri-Valley in conjunction with the organization’s annual Romance in the Tri-Valley event, according to Danville town officials.
The featured artists are Wardrope, Linda Beach, Ruth Hussey, Mark Mertens and Pat Suggs. The exhibit is set to run through this Saturday (Feb. 28).
The gallery is open to visitors Wednesdays through Fridays from 12-5 p.m., Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Mondays and Tuesdays by appointment only. Admission is free, and donations are accepted.
For additional information, call 314-3460 or visit the gallery website.
