An art exhibit featuring artists’ interpretation of “Seeing Red” will open Friday at a Danville gallery.

The juried exhibit will be judged by Jacquelyn Smith, owner and president of East Bay-based Art Concepts, Inc.

The exhibit will kick off with an opening reception from 5-7 p.m. on Friday at Village Theatre and Art Gallery, 233 Front St.

“Seeing Red” will be open to the public through Aug. 22. The Village Theatre gallery is open Wednesdays through Fridays 12-5 p.m., Saturdays 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Mondays and Tuesdays by appointment. Admission is free.
