San Ramon pool closed for emergency water line repairs

The San Ramon Olympic Pool & Aquatic Park will be closed Thursday and Friday due to a water line leak, according to city officials.

Repairs need to be made after the main water line leading to the facility sprung a leak this week, which means the water to the pool and water park have to be shut off, according to city officials.

They anticipate the pool — which is adjacent to California High School on Broadmoor Drive — will reopen for regularly scheduled events this Saturday morning.

As an alternative in the meantime, city officials said the following swim hours will be offered at the nearby Dougherty Valley Aquatic Center, located at 10550 Albion Road: Thursday until 2:30 p.m. and Friday from 6:30-8:30 a.m., 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. 3:30-5:30 p.m.
