Bright Horizons Family Solutions is set to open a new child care center in Bishop Ranch 3 in San Ramon this fall, providing early education and educational counseling, along with a range of other child care services.
The child care center will take in approximately 200 children, ages 6 weeks through 5 years old. Infant through kindergarten prep programs will be included in addition to back-up and drop-in care.
The new facility at Bishop Ranch, located at 2603 Camino Ramon, is expected to be complete by this fall. Enrollment has already begun.
“We are thrilled that a Bright Horizons Child Care Center will be coming to Bishop Ranch,” said Alex Mehran Jr., president and COO of Sunset Development Co., which owns and operates Bishop Ranch. “This new, additional amenity in Bishop Ranch will provide children, families and clients with the resources and support they need to ensure that all-important work-life balance.”
The space will be designed with 14 separate classrooms, each one with its own food service areas, as well as diaper changing areas or child restrooms as needed by each age group. There will also be an 8,000-square-foot outdoor play area.
The center will operate Mondays through Fridays.
