San Ramon’s resident professional dance company Jumpin’ at the Sun is set to perform its newest show, “Together as One,” Friday and Saturday at the Dougherty Valley Performing Arts Center.

The show features four new pieces, two of which are choreographed by a pair of Jumpin’ at the Sun dancers, and the troupe also brought back three favorite pieces.

Co-artistic directors Debbie Saravia and Lindsey Saravia Neville, a mother-daughter team, created Jumpin’ at the Sun to show dance as an art form meant to be shared in a casual, comfortable and welcoming environment.

“Together as One” is scheduled for 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, with tickets costing $22 apiece. The event is sponsored by the San Ramon Arts Foundation.
