Arts-and-crafts aficionados are set to arrive at the Alamo Plaza Shopping Center this Mother’s Day weekend for the annual Alamo Jewelry, Fine Art and Craft Show.

This year’s show will feature local and regional artists exhibiting original works in a range of media, including paintings, sculpture, pottery, jewelry, fiber art, glass, woodwork, mixed media and photography, according to organizers.

Among the exhibitors will be photographer Locke Heemstra, who has traveled the world capturing images and has participated in juried art shows throughout California and the western U.S. for more than 25 years.

Admission is free to the two-day event, which runs Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Alamo Plaza on Danville Boulevard. For more information, visit the event webpage.
