Danville police are searching for two men accused of taking packages along Valley Creek Lane on Thursday afternoon.
At 2:12 p.m., officers responded to a call on the 200 block of Valley Creek Lane, reporting a package thief, according to Danville Police Chief Allan Shields.
Shields said the caller reported having seen two people stealing packages, one of whom seemed to be carrying the stolen packages. The two left on foot toward W. El Pintado Road.
Police were able to obtain a photo of one of the men, and the other is described as a white man in his late teens wearing a burgundy beanie and a black jacket, Shields said.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Danville police at 820-2144, and anyone who sees something suspicious is asked to call 9-1-1.
