San Ramon Valley residents will get a chance to taste some of the region’s best wines and appreciate some of its most talented local artists at the 15th annual Danville Art and Wine Stroll this Thursday.

The Danville Area Chamber of Commerce is organizing the event set for 6-9 p.m. Thursday in downtown Danville and down the road at the Danville Livery shopping center.

Participating businesses in downtown and the Danville Livery will stay open to host some of the area’s finest wines and serve guests small bites while they stroll around and appreciate local artists as well as live music.

Event-goers will receive a commemorative wine glass for tasting, a complimentary tote bag and free trolley rides to take them to and from the events downtown and at the Danville Livery.

General admission tickets are $35 and $15 for guests who do not plan on drinking, but still want to appreciate the events food, art and live music. Tickets are going fast and organizers fully expect to be sold out by Wednesday.

Participants are requested to check in either downtown at the Veterans Memorial Building patio, 115 E. Prospect Ave., or for the Danville Livery at the Nest, 800 Sycamore Valley Road.

  1. Had a wonderful and amusing time in our community’s Art & Wine Stroll. Ticket sales and pre-sold tickets were professionally assembled and maintained by courteous and smiling individuals. Wrist-banded, wine glass and street map in hand, we ventured out.
    What an absolutely delightful experience!
The merchants were hospitable and accommodating. Their stores shinned and
merchandise placed in very convenient and pleasing manner. The majority of
stores had wine available, served by mannered and educated individuals.
The great pleasure, of course, was the experience of seeing the many different expressions of art, whether jewellery, paintings, photography fashion, body salons or bakeries and restaurants which comprise the downtown of our village.
Hats off and kudos to the Danville Chamber of Commerce. Job well done!
Congratulations, once again, to the merchants and the artists who allowed us into their stores and their artistic creations.
Isn’t it fun and exciting to live Danville. I believe so. And I hope you had a good time, also.
