Slated to open Nov. 8, City Center at Bishop Ranch continues to announce new shops and restaurants scheduled to populate the 300,000-square-foot shopping, dining and entertainment destination.

On Wednesday, Bishop Ranch announced several new retailers will be opening in City Center, including Anthropologie, the popular clothing and fashion store owned by Urban Outfitters, which is scheduled to open a 9,000-square-foot store in the heart of City Center come spring 2019.

“Anthropologie complements the vision of City Center Bishop Ranch,” said Alexander Mehran Jr., president and chief operating officer of Sunset Development Company, the upcoming center’s developer. “Like the center itself, the store celebrates fashion, art, culture and design. Anthropologie is beloved by its customers, and we’re confident Tri-Valley residents will be excited to shop at this beautiful new store while shopping at our other boutiques or dining at one of our restaurants.”

Several other retailers joining Anthropologie after City Center’s grand opening include:

* Gio Gelati, which offers authentic Italian gelato in a unique combination and variety of flavors, made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients.

* Heller Jewelers, a local, family-owned Rolex jeweler with a strong focus on exemplary customer service and unique designs.

*Joe & The Juice, a Scandinavian coffee and juice concept that uses high-quality, natural and organic ingredients in its freshly prepared juices.

“We want to bring color to an often gray world and help people enjoy life through simple pleasures like delicious gelato,” said Guido Mastropaolo, partner of Gio Gelati. “Gio Gelati is proud to join City Center Bishop Ranch and add our special Italian flavor to a location whose personality is being defined by the great Italian architect, Renzo Piano.”

Opening up their second location in the city is local retailer Heller Jewelers, which this year was named the 2018 Best Jewelry Store of the East Bay by Diablo Magazine for their unique designs and handcrafted pieces.

“This is such an exciting time for Heller Jewelers. Being a part of City Center Bishop Ranch will allow us to expand our luxury jewelry and timepiece offerings, as well as create an exceptional experience for our community. We are pleased to be joining a fantastic destination in San Ramon,” said Scott Heller, who opened his first site in San Ramon with his wife Catherine 23 years ago.

These new retailers will be joining numerous shops and restaurants at City Center that have already been announced, including Boba Guys, Curry Up Now, Delarosa, Equinox Fitness, Fieldwork Brewing Company, Mendocino Farms, MIXT, MONOKROME, Ramen Hiroshi, the Slanted Door, the piece. store, On the Edge, Williams Sonoma, Pottery Barn and M, a new venture by fashion supermodel Maggie Rizer.

These retailers and many others are scheduled to begin opening this November.

  1. Does anyone know how to get information on leasing a space in the new SR City Center? I’ve been inquiring since April to the email address of citycenter@bishopranch.com and got an initial response, asking for more information about our businesses, which I provided, but can’t get a response from the signature on the initial reply, who was Karen Richards. I found another email address on the Bishop Ranch website for leasing information, but it came back as undeliverable. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

  2. I am so excited for the upcoming opening of City Center Bishop Ranch. San Ramon is an awesome city to live. Soon we will have this new addition to our neighborhoods for community gathering, shopping, dinning and entertainment destination.
