The San Ramon City Council is scheduled to meet Monday morning to discuss a sale agreement with Dhillon-Goyal Hotel Group regarding the property located on the corner of Omega Road and Deerwood Road, during a special meeting at city hall.
The city originally agreed to sell the property to the tune of $1,841,700, in 2016, with the understanding that the hotel group will develop a Hampton Inn by Hilton or comparable hotel project.
A Planning Commission meeting is scheduled for March 19 for final approval of the project. To give city officials and the buyers enough time for final review, the City Council will consider extending the sale agreement for an additional 90 days to close escrow.
The San Ramon Council will meet for its special meeting at 5 p.m. Monday at the City Hall Large Conference Room, 7000 Bollinger Canyon Road.
