The fourth annual Wines and Steins event will raise a glass to Danville for a night of celebration when it returns to town this Thursday (Aug. 22), brining with it a variety of local beer, wine and shopping for attendees to try.

The event will be held at the Danville Livery and downtown Danville, where selected businesses will be open to host some of the town’s finest brews and wines.

Guests can ride the trolley round trip around the historic downtown from Hartz and Railroad avenues to the Livery, enjoy samples of beer and wine and listen to live music.

As tickets are selling quickly, residents are encouraged to get theirs soon before they sell out.

Pre-sale tickets can be bought for $35 or at the door on Aug 22 for $45. Non-drinkers and designated drivers will be able to come to the event for $15. Doors will open at 6 p.m. and the event will run until 9 p.m.

Pre-sale tickets are available online at the Visit Tri-Valley website. Each ticket comes with a wine glass and tote bag that can be collected at the Veterans Memorial Building, 400 Hartz Ave., in downtown Danville or at the Danville Livery, 412 Sycamore Valley Road, which will serve as check-in locations and be open from 5:30-7:30 p.m. the night of the event.

Residents with any questions about the event can contact the Danville Area Chamber of Commerce at 837-4400.
