The fifth annual Hope 100 Golf Marathon at Castlewood Country Club generated $84,000 in fundraising for patient care and community services offered by local nonprofit Hope Hospice and Home Health.

The special event on Sept. 30 in Pleasanton saw 24 fundraising golfers play 100 holes in one day at the Valley Course, a fundraiser for Hope Hospice that is designed as a strenuous outing to symbolize the challenges patients and families face at the end of life.
