Veterans’ Voices, in association with the Contra Costa County Veterans Service, is hosting a town hall open discussion Monday about the Jan. 6 riots at the U.S. Capitol.
The “Town Hall on Current Events” will also focus attention on the overall atmosphere that eventually led to the violence of that day.
Monday’s live broadcast, on Contra Costa Television (CCTV) will spotlight veterans who will provide their thoughts and opinions on the historic significance of the Jan. 6 riots and also discuss steps that the public can take to help unite a country divided, according to the Contra Costa County Office of Communications.
The program will air from 7-8 p.m. Monday (March 8).
