San Ramon is set to be the newest base of operations for a high-profile consulting firm based in Tennessee and expanding locations throughout the country, including a new office in Bishop Ranch being its second in the East Bay.
Officials with Sunset Development and Vaco announced on May 2 that the latter had begun moving into a 50,000-square-foot office space in Bishop Ranch 3 in a step that is aimed at expanding Vaco’s digital operations and local presence and helping to reshape the evolving face of San Ramon’s prominent 600-acre, mixed-use property formerly used primarily for office space for companies prior to the digital age.
“Serving as Vaco’s newest digital operations center, this will be the dedicated hub for 1,000 employees specializing in providing end-to-end content review and support, including trust and safety, quality assurance (QA), business analysis, content creation, project management and digital tagging for social media giants from across the Bay Area,” a spokesperson from Sunset Development said in the announcement earlier this month.
Vaco serves more than 12,000 clients around the world, according to the May 2 announcement, and has more than 10,000 employees.
In addition to being the second East Bay office for Vaco, the new Bishop Ranch location will be its fourth digital operations center. It will also host Vaco Labs, described as a software center focused on artificial intelligence and machine learning applications for its clients.
