John Pulos, a founding member at Crow Canyon Country Club in Danville, is known as the “Hole-In-One King” at Crow Canyon. He has aced four of the five par-3 holes at Crow Canyon. His goal is to ace the challenging No. 6 hole around 200 yards, over a lake, and surrounded by bunkers. According to the pro, no member has aced all of the other four par-3 holes. When asked about his goal, Pulos, 82, said, “I would really like an ace on No. 6, but to have the record for hole in ones on the other Crow Canyon par-3’s is very gratifying – really a hole-in-one anywhere, anytime is a real special feeling. I just love the game and at my age am happy to be able to enjoy it.”
