The Mustang Flash, the Under 11 Silver Class 1 Boys team of the Mustang Danville soccer program, brought home the gold medal after winning first place in the Capital Valley Warm-Up at Sacramento. The Flash finished the tournament with an undefeated record of 4 wins to 0 losses.

The Flash finished league play in third place. Besides its most recent victory, the Flash has already managed to pull in a number of big wins. Last summer, the team took second place in the Prestige Cup in Roseville and was champion of the Gold Cup in Concord. Additionally, the Flash was a semi-finalist in the Summer Cup held in Santa Barbara and was champion of the Labor Day Classic in Oakland. The team is currently training for the Northern California State Cup Tournament, which will be held Jan. 28-29 in Sacramento.
