The Wolves boys basketball team ran its record to 15-4 and 5-0 in the East Bay Athletic League with a win over California 72-55. Brandon Adams led the Wolves with 23 points.
The Lady Wolves also remained perfect in the EBAL with a 66-48 win over California. Their record is now 14-5 overall and 5-0 in the EBAL. Both teams are in first place in the league standings.
The Monte Vista boys basketball team beat Amador Valley 66-56 to go 13-6 overall and 4-1 in the EBAL and are one game behind San Ramon in the league standings. Corey Higgins led the Mustangs with 26 points. The Mustangs and Wolves were scheduled to do battle against each other Feb. 1 at Monte Vista.
The Lady Mustangs lost to Amador Valley 56-46 to go 14-5 overall and 3-1 in the EBAL. They rebounded with a victory over Amador Valley 38-34 and remain one game behind San Ramon in the league standings.
Boys soccer
The Wolves boys soccer team tied Livermore 1-1 to 17-1-2 overall and 8-1-2 in the league. Cameron Walters scored for the Wolves to secure the tie. The tie allowed the Wolves to remain in first place over Monte Vista. The Wolves and Mustangs will battle each other in the final game of league Feb. 10.
Girls soccer
The Lady Mustangs soccer team remained in first place in the league with a 15-3-2 overall record and 7-0-1 in the EBAL with a win over Livermore 5-0. Courtney Jones led the Mustangs with two goals. The Mustangs remained slightly ahead over San Ramon, who kept pace with a win over Granada 7-0. The Wolves are now 16-2-1 overall and 7-1 in the league.
