Workers with the Contra Costa County Public Works Department are set to commence this week with the next phase of a roundabout project in Alamo at the intersection of Danville Boulevard and Orchard Court.

Starting Thursday, the public works department is warning drivers on the section of Danville Boulevard between Stone Valley Road and St. Alphonsus Way to anticipate delays of up to 15 minutes during work hours from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. through June 28 to accommodate workers applying a pavement surface treatment and final roadway striping.

Roadway striping is set to continue during the same hours from July 8 through July 17.

One-way traffic control measures and flaggers are set to be present at the site throughout work hours in the coming weeks.
