Moonlight on the Mountain

Tickets for Save Mount Diablo’s Moonlight on the Mountain gala are now sold out, with a waitlist currently available.

This year is the 23rd for the conservation organization’s major annual fundraising event, in which guests are treated to a three course meal, live music, and auctions on the slopes of Mount Diablo. More information and a waitlist sign-up are available here.

Tri-Valley Mayors’ Summit

Community members have just a short period of time remaining to acquire tickets for next week’s Tri-Valley Mayors’ Summit in Blackhawk.

Registration is open through Friday (Aug. 16) at 5 p.m. for the luncheon event scheduled for next Thursday (Aug. 22) at the Blackhawk Museum at 3700 Blackhawk Plaza Circle.

The event starts with a VIP reception at 10:30 a.m., followed by a general reception at 11:30 a.m. and a panel discussion from noon to 1:30 p.m. moderated by former assemblymember Catharine Baker with all five mayors: Karen Stepper (Danville), Dave Hudson (San Ramon), Karla Brown (Pleasanton), Michael McCorriston (Dublin) and John Marchand (Livermore).

Crush’d opening

There is a new business opening its doors in downtown Danville this week, with Crush’d Wine Bar and Kitchen set for a grand opening on Friday.

Starting Friday, the new downtown offering is set to feature 24 wines on tap along with a food menu all aimed at showcasing flavors of the Tri-Valley at 312 Railroad Ave. from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.

Final EONF tickets

Tickets for seven out of the eight showtimes are now sold out for the upcoming production of “Mourning Becomes Electra” that is serving as the signature event for this year’s Eugene O’Neill Festival. 

As of Thursday afternoon, only 11 tickets remained available for the upcoming production on Sept. 27 at 6 p.m., with all other show dates sold out.
