Bicyclist arrested for trespassing
A 34-year-old man was arrested for trespassing at a bank parking lot in the 100 block of Diablo Road at 4:45 p.m. May 11. The man had been asked to leave the bank parking lot several times before, according to the police report. He allegedly rides his bike around the parking lot doing tricks on his bike and also repeatedly sets off the bell for the teller, police said. Police said when they were called May 11, a confrontation ensued and the bicyclist complained of Danville’s lack of bike parks where people can do bike tricks. Upon arrest, he gave the police a false name and resisted being arrested, police said.
Man, 18, arrested for possession of cocaine for sale
An 18-year-old-man was arrested for possessing cocaine for sale in the first block of Cerro Court at 12:59 a.m. May 13. A resident saw two people sitting in a car throwing what seemed to be beer cans out the car window, according to the police report, and called the police. Upon arrival, police asked the two passengers to step out of the car. When the 18-year-old man got out of the car, a bag dropped from his person, said police, which turned out to contain three plastic bags of cocaine, each with its weight marked on it. Only the 18-year-old man in possession of the cocaine was arrested, according to reports.
