The school board recently approved a temporary parking agreement between San Ramon Valley High School and St. Isidore’s Catholic Church, on La Gonda Way.
The high school, located on Love Lane at Danville Boulevard, is currently undergoing Measure A construction on campus. Due to the building of the new Library/Media Center and the addition to the Performing Arts center, the high school has lost much needed parking.
The agreement asks St. Isidore’s to make 28 parking spaces at the corner of El Cerro Boulevard and La Gonda Way available for students and staff. The high school will have access to the parking from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. The agreement is from Aug. 29, 2005, to June 16, 2006. The district will pay the church $50 per each of the 28 parking spaces.
