The former ARTrageous Child is moving downtown. The studio, which used to be located at 704 San Ramon Valley Blvd., next to Albertson’s, is moving to 290 Hartz Ave. The new studio, called ARTrageous Art Studio and CafÈ, will officially open Sept. 6 next to Primo’s Pizza & Pasta at the corner of Diablo Road and Hartz Avenue.
The studio will also be expanding its range of classes. It will still offer art classes for children ages 3 to adult but will also offer drop-in classes and a teen night with live music on Fridays. Owner Melinda Margolis hopes the new space will be a place where the whole family can hang out and be creative. It will be serving coffee and tea, as well as pastries.
