The San Ramon Valley Unified School District is beginning early kindergarten registration in January to deal with the expanding enrollment in Dougherty Valley. This will allow district administrators to plan staffing and school boundary lines more effectively.
The early registration will only be for new students in the Dougherty Valley elementary schools of Coyote Creek, Hidden Hills and Quail Run. The district is also considering expanding the capacity at schools and possibly changing attendance boundaries to deal with increasing enrollment.
