San Ramon Regional Medical Center is offering free heart screenings on a first come-first served basis from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 25, in its south conference room, at 7777 Norris Canyon Road in San Ramon. Adults are invited to these preventive screenings: (total) cholesterol, blood pressure, body mass index and computerized body fat analysis. Fasting is recommended but not required.
The event is being held in conjunction with the “Go Red” campaign of the American Heart Association. The screening is to help men and women identify their risks. It will also be a chance to meet the staff at the hospital and learn about its services. Call (800) 284-2878.
