French students visiting Danville need families to host them for their fourth annual visit, from April 21 to May 5. The teens are from Beziers, located in the south of France, and due to the success of previous years, 36 have signed up. But now organizers are afraid they will not be able to find enough homes for the visitors.

“We’ve done this the past three years,” said organizer Terry Griffith. “We got to know the teacher involved and the students who have come back.” He and his wife Lila Shadloo have also visited their new friends in Beziers.

It’s a great opportunity for families with children in high school but that is not a requirement. The program is sponsored by the parent-teacher association of the high school in Beziers.
