Alamo Parks and Recreation’s new program has 30 classes offered for fall 2006. Class listings and registration information are available at www.alamore.org, or call 451-9176.

This inaugural session has something for everyone, from babies to seniors. Moms with young ones might enjoy Boogie with Your Baby or Stroller Strides. Children and teens can learn to draw characters from “Cars” with Pixar Animator Matthew Luhn; the skills to be an expert babysitter; or the latest hip hop dance moves. For adults, fitness classes include the Supple Goddess Workout, Tai Chi and yoga. On the artistic side, choices include outdoor painting, scrapbooking and flower arranging.

Alamo residents receive a 50 percent reduction of the class fee because the program costs are being supplemented by tax dollars from the R-7A Special Tax District.
