Primo’s Run for Education takes place this Sunday, Oct. 8. The run’s half marathon begins at 7:30 a.m. at Primo’s Pizza & Pasta, at the corner of Hartz Avenue and Diablo Road. The event’s 5K Family Fun Run/Walk begins at 8:30 a.m. at Iron Horse Middle School on Alcosta Boulevard in San Ramon. Both races are certified by USA Track & Field.
Late registration for the half marathon starts at 6 a.m. at Primo’s, and late registration for 5K Family run begins at 7 a.m. at Iron Horse Middle School.
The courses cover Danville and parts of San Ramon and both end at Iron Horse Middle School. After the race, a Fun Fair will be held. Participants who have runner sponsors will be eligible for prizes.
Primo’s Run is the largest event to benefit the San Ramon Valley Education Foundation and attracts thousands of runners from all over the Bay Area.
