The Museum of the San Ramon Valley is offering a special walking tour of historic downtown Danville in conjunction with this weekend’s Eugene O’Neill Festival. The tour is called “The Secrets of O’Neill in Danville,” and will be led by museum docent and O’Neill expert Carolyn Thiessen.
The free tour begins at 3:15 p.m., tomorrow, Sept. 22, at the Town Meeting Hall, 201 Front St., after the 1:30 p.m. seminar, “O’Neill: Young and Restless.” The tour will include the O’Neill Commemorative in Front Street Park and will focus on Danville in the O’Neill years, 1937-1944.
