Eleanor Roosevelt – aka Danville actress June Pass Russell – appeared in “Remembering Eleanor” in the Diablo Room at the Danville Public Library. The J&L Center Stage production packed the house both nights it ran last week, showing Eleanor with President FDR and their advisor Louis Howe at the turning points of their lives.
J&L also presented the play at Mt. Diablo High School in Concord, and the students were extremely receptive, said Pass Russell. The School Outreach Program is funded by Target and Wells Fargo. For more information about J&L Center Stage, call 820-7216.
