One person died in a three-vehicle crash on northbound Interstate 680 at Rudgear Road in Walnut Creek on Friday, the California Highway Patrol said.
The collision was reported about 6 a.m. Friday (Oct. 25) and closed all lanes until about 10 a.m., the CHP said.
The events leading to the collision are under investigation.
