A Dublin resident and former bartender at the Condor Club, San Francisco’s historic topless bar, has been sentenced to one year in jail for being an accessory in the 2025 killing of the club’s manager.
Asia Morton, 26, faced charges for assisting Richard Lund after he allegedly shot and killed Condor Club general manager Mark Calcagni in Santa Rosa in 2025.
Morton was sentenced to one year in jail and one year mandatory supervision, according to her attorney, Walter Rubenstein.
Early the morning of Oct. 3, 2025, Santa Rosa police officers found Calcagni, 60, dead from a gunshot wound in the 2200 block of Brookwood Avenue.
On Oct. 24, 2025, officers arrested Morton at San Francisco International Airport on her return from international travel. Officers arrested Lund at home in Dublin, the same day, according to police. Police said Lund and Morton were romantically involved and lived together in Dublin.
Following the arrest, police alleged that Lund, 43, also an ex-employee of the Condor Club, waited for Calcagni to return home from work, then shot him. Police also contended that Morton helped Lund plan the shooting.
Ultimately, Morton was not charged with conspiracy – a much harsher sentence, her attorney said.
Lund is facing multiple charges, including murder, and is set to stand trial in Sonoma County Superior Court on Aug. 28.
