The San Ramon Valley school board is set to consider signing off on agreements with a classified employee union for their new successor contract Tuesday night.

The deals with California School Employees Association Chapter 65, Unit III – which represents paraprofessionals in the San Ramon Valley Unified School District – were originally disclosed to the public during the June 16 board meeting.

The three-year contract with the union, spanning July 2025 to June 2028, includes a one-time salary payment of 0.53% retroactive to July 1, 2025. Other sections included service logs, charting requirements and the duty calendar.

Final approval is scheduled as part of the open session for the regular Board of Education meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday (Aug. 18) at the district headquarters, 699 Old Orchard Drive. The full agenda can be accessed here.
