The state of the San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District, the town’s quarterly investment report and an update on legislative matters are among the lead topics for a presentation-heavy meeting of the Danville Town Council on Tuesday evening.

Councilmembers will also hear about recent activities of the town’s Development Services Department and the region’s Street Smarts program, as well as present a proclamation declaring April as National Volunteer Appreciation Month.

In its lone full action item, the council will consider authorizing modifications to three previously approved community events in public streets in Danville: The Devil Mountain Run on May 3, Passport to Wellness on June 13 and A Brighter Day Car Show & Shine on June 14.

The council will also have an eight-item consent calendar, including the final adoption of the resolution to dissolve the Danville Landscaping and Lighting Assessment District, accepting $21,876 from the CalRecycle program, a maximum $55,000 contract with Pun Group for auditing services in 2025-26 and approving the Contra Costa Clean Water Program inspection activities agreement.

The regular council meeting is scheduled to start at 5 p.m. Tuesday (April 21) in the Town Meeting Hall at 201 Front St. in downtown Danville. The full agenda can be accessed here.
