The investigation into a burglary over the weekend at a Hindu temple in Dublin was ongoing as of Monday, with police releasing limited details and seeking the public’s help.

Approximately $34,000 in cash and jewelry was stolen from the Sri Panchamukha Hanuman Temple at 6930 Village Parkway during the burglary at approximately 4:40 a.m. Sunday morning, according to an announcement from Dublin Police Services.

Police said that as of Monday afternoon there was “no evidence to indicate the burglary was motivated by prejudice on the basis of religion.”

No further details were released as of Monday, “in order to protect the integrity of the investigation,” according to DPS.
