The Danville Town Council is set to vote on which of its members to send to represent the town at the League of California Cities annual conference next month.
The conference and expo consists of a general assembly made up of delegates from each California city, with each municipality allowed to appoint up to two alternate delegates as well.
During the assembly, delegates debate and discuss resolutions that have been moved forward by the league’s resolutions committee, as well as potential amendments to its bylaws.
This year’s event is scheduled for Oct. 10 in Long Beach.
The Danville Town Council is set to meet at 5 p.m. Tuesday (Sept. 16). The agenda is available here.
In other business, the council is set to hear a legislative update from Management Analyst Cat Bravo and a report from Senior Advisory Commission Chair Candace Hendra.
