Longs Drugs Challenge winner Suzann Pettersen hugs a golden retriever puppy named Bogey, whom she befriended over the course of the four-day tournament that ended Sunday. The Norwegian joked that Bogey, whose sister Birdie is the other course dog, brought her good luck in the tournament.

The Challenge, held for the second year at Blackhawk Country Club, ended with Pettersen and Lorena Ochoa in a sudden death playoff that ended with Pettersen sinking her final putt on the Lakeside course to win the $165,000 purse.

Pettersen said she would have liked to take home Bogey the dog home instead of the trophy and said that is the first thing she will acquire when she retires from professional golf.
