The 10th San Ramon Performing Arts Series will kick off Saturday with a performance by John Tesh, a pianist, composer, radio host and news anchor.
The performance will take place at the Dougherty Valley Performing Arts Center, starting at 8 p.m.
Tesh is a four-time Emmy Award winner and two-time Grammy nominee, with a varied career path within the entertainment world. He spent 10 years as an anchor on “Entertainment Tonight” and has more than 50 recordings over the course of a 25-year career, melding classical, pop and new age music.
Some of his hits include “Give Me Forever (I Do),” “Because You Loved Me,” and “Barcelona.”
Tickets can be purchased online or by calling the box office at 973-3343. Single tickets cost $49 and season tickets are $265, with access to four additional shows coming to San Ramon: Blood Sweat & Tears, One Night of Queen, Judy Collins and Sara Evans.
