The town of Danville’s Senior Advisory Commission is currently in the process of developing an “Age-Friendly Roadmap” to help create a better community for residents of all ages, and local residents are invited to participate in a survey seeking to help guide the town in achieving this goal.

Aiming to outline the goals and strategies for making Danville a more age-inclusive community, town staff say the roadmap will help guide the town in serving the community, “particularly adults and seniors.”
“It is important to help people to stay in their communities as they age and as their needs change. The goal is to improve the quality of life for the very young, the very old, and everyone in between,” town staff said in a statement. “(Survey) results will be reviewed and used to assess the future needs and concerns surrounding aging in Danville.”
The survey is open now through April 2. Residents of all ages are encouraged to fill it out online at the town of Danville’s website.
