Dublin man given 18 months in federal prison for damaging insurance company computers

A 49-year-old Dublin man was sentenced Thursday to 18 months in federal prison after admitting last year that he damaged computers belonging to a health insurance company where he previously worked.

EPA reprimands C&H Sugar over three discharges into Carquinez Strait

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency said Friday it ordered C&H Sugar Company to follow the federal Clean Water Act, which the company allegedly violated at least three times at its Crockett facility by discharging sugar into the Carquinez Strait.
