Caltrans is shutting down the El Cerro Boulevard onramp to southbound Interstate 680 in Danville during daytime hours this week and next for the soundwall replacement project in the area.
Scheduled to begin this Wednesday (Sept. 9), the closures will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each weekday through next Friday (Sept. 18), according to the state agency.
All work is dependent on weather conditions and subject to change. Caltrans said motorists will be detoured to nearby onramps at Stone Valley Road in Alamo or Sycamore Valley Road in Danville to access southbound I-680.
