“Stepping into this role at Soundwall Music Camp is both an honor and a significant responsibility,” Schuman said in an announcement on June 28. “John Xepoleas was a visionary leader whose passion for music education helped shape the camp into what it is today. I am committed to continuing his legacy and advancing our mission to inspire and educate the next generation of musicians.”
The camp is open to students from 12 to 17-years-old with at least one year of experience playing and studying music. Registration is now open for this year’s camp, which runs from July 21-26 at UC Santa Cruz. More information is available at rockcamp.org.
