Four men from across the Bay Area and one visiting from Europe were arrested by Walnut Creek police last week for allegedly traveling to the city to meet up with children for sexual exploitation.
The Walnut Creek Police Department in conjunction with the Contra Costa County Crimes Against Children Task Force targeted adults using social media to target children.
According to police, five men are now facing allegations of attempted lewd acts with a minor, contacting a minor to commit a sex offense, and arranging to meet a minor for sex.
Arrested were Concord resident Andrew Garcia, 32, Antioch resident Billie Ray Breland, 29, and Taesu Park, 36, from Marin County. A man visiting from Germany was also arrested, Rudolf Naused Robl, 42, and a Walnut Creek resident, Jacek Markiewicz, 76, was also arrested on suspicion of attempted kidnapping.
