The San Ramon City Council is set to recognize the certified election results released by the county last week at their next regular meeting, which will also see the swearing-in of the winners of last month’s election.

Mayor-elect Mark Armstrong is set to officially take the reins from outgoing mayor and longtime councilmember Dave Hudson – the city’s longest-tenured councilmember –  with newcomer Robert Jweinat set to succeed outgoing five-term District 1 Councilmember Scott Perkins.

The council is set to recognize Perkins and Hudson for their decades of service with the city before swearing in Armstrong and Jweinat, as well as District 3 Councilmember Sridhar Verose, who ran unopposed in his bid for a second term in office in this year’s election.

The San Ramon City Council is set to meet at 7 p.m. on Tuesday (Dec. 10). The agenda is available here.

In other business, the council is set to hear remarks from the offices of Rep. Mark DeSaulnier (D-Concord), State Sen. Steve Glazer (D-Orinda), Asm. Rebecca Bauer-Kahan (D-Orinda) and District 2 County Supervisor Candace Andersen.
