Bank of the West, a regional financial services company, is expanding its space within Bishop Ranch business park in San Ramon by 40,000 square feet.
The five-story Bishop Ranch 15 building, located at 12667 Alcosta Blvd., will now house Bank of the West offices and the company will now occupy almost 436,000 square feet of space within the local business complex.
Bank of the West first moved its offices to Bishop Ranch in 2009 when they originally leased 240,000 square feet of space in the Bishop Ranch 7 building. With the current expansion underway, the company will lease nearly double that original amount of space.
The expansion is expected to be completed sometime this fall, according to Bishop Ranch reps.
"Bank of the West's expansion is an example of the steady, stable growth here at Bishop Ranch, with tenants both large and small," said Alexander Mehran Jr., president and COO of Sunset Development Co., which owns and operates Bishop Ranch.
"We're honored that so many companies have relocated or expanded their presence here and pleased that they find value in the high-quality business environment we've fostered," Mehran added.
