The California Highway Patrol is continuing to search this week for the suspect in a San Ramon freeway shooting Sunday evening in which no one was injured.
CHP officers met late Sunday night with a man in San Ramon who reported that the shooting came from the passenger of a Ford F250 who had aimed a gun in his direction and fired approximately five times while traveling northbound on I-680 north of Alcosta Boulevard at approximately 8:08 p.m. that day.
No further details were available as of Monday afternoon.
The agency’s Dublin division is continuing to work toward identifying the suspect. Anyone with additional information is asked to call investigator and officer Robert Purl at 925-828-0446.
