Authorities have confirmed the identity of the woman who died in a solo-vehicle crash inside the gates of the Rossmoor senior living community in Walnut Creek last week.
The decedent was 32-year-old Walnut Creek resident Rachel Doron Arganek, according to the Contra Costa County Coroner’s Division.
The Walnut Creek Police Department reported that Arganek was the only person found inside the vehicle when officers responded to a solo crash in the area of Rossmoor Parkway and Stanley Dollar Drive just after 5 a.m. last Thursday (Aug. 13).
She was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
The circumstances of the fatal crash remain under investigation by WCPD’s Major Accident Investigation Team, police said. Anyone with information about what transpired can contact investigators at 925-943-5844.
