The San Ramon Valley T-Birds squads faced those of West Pittsburg last Saturday at San Ramon Valley High and all of the T-Birds came out victorious.
Football action included:
* SRV Jr. Midgets vs. West Pittsburg Vikings, 36-7
* SRV Pee Wee’s vs. West Pittsburg Spartans, 14-8
* T-Birds Jr. Pee Wees vs. West Pittsburg Titans, 18-0
* T-Birds Midgets vs. West Pittsburg Nomads, 16-0
* T-Bird Scouts vs. West Pittsburg Trojans
It was also homecoming for the T-Birds, with the game festivities starting with the parents meeting in the end zone and team members and cheerleaders presenting them with roses. The homecoming festivities continued during halftime with the cheerleaders entertaining the crowds with their competition dance.
